Covering 22,000 m², this facility is specifically designed to optimize our logistics operations and provide advanced solutions, including temperature-controlled storage, adapting to the most demanding industry requirements.

This development marks a strong step forward in our expansion in the Maghreb and reinforces our commitment to continuously improving our logistics capabilities in the region.

New Intermodal Route: Bettembourg, LX - Curtici, RO

This October has been a key milestone for our growth in intermodal solutions, as we have launched a new rail line connecting Bettembourg, Luxembourg, with Curtici, Romania. This initiative strengthens our commitment to sustainability and logistical efficiency, providing innovative solutions for our clients operating in Central and Eastern Europe.

A great start for a strategic connection

Our intermodal team attended the official inauguration of the Curtici-Bettembourg intermodal line at the Rail Port Arad terminal in Curtici, where they had the opportunity to witness the loading of one of the trains. This moment was particularly significant as it featured the largest presence of Calsina Carré trailers up to the date.

Three weeks after its launch, the new route has already allowed us to load more than 80 trailers onto the train, highlighting its importance to our operations and solidifying our goal to expand rail transport in Central and Eastern Europe.

Boosting our romanian subsidiary

This new connection also enables us to strengthen the operations of our romanian subsidiary, European Logistics, which currently operates from two strategic locations: Pitesti and Arad. The addition of this route is key to reaching this strategic territory sustainably and efficiently, further establishing ourselves as a logistics operator with a strong presence in the region.

What benefits will this new route provide?

• Greater coverage in Eastern Europe
This rail line enhances our connectivity in key markets of Central and Eastern Europe, reinforcing our operational capacity in the region.

• Operational efficiency
Improved transit times that reduce delivery schedules, offering our customers logistical solutions that meet the demands of an increasingly dynamic environment.

• Sustainability in action
The use of rail transport significantly reduces CO₂ emissions, aligning with our commitment to building a more sustainable future for the logistics sector.

With the addition of this route, we now operate five intermodal connections daily across Europe, and conduct over a thousand monthly trips using this combined transportation network.
